Beypazari is one of the districts of Ankara and it is located nearly 100 km. west of Ankara. Its' known first name is "Lagania", namely that infer "Counrty rock peak". Beypazari hosted too many civilizations in the past. It is mentioned in the Seyahatname which is the book of Evliya Celebi. Hittite, Phrygian, Galatian, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman dominated the Beypazari respectively. It was bishopric center in the Byzantine time. Beypazari entered in a brilliant time commercially by connecting Istanbul to Baghdad . With the domination of Anatolian by the Turks , Turkmens settled down to Beypazari. Founder of Ottoman Empire Osman Beys' grandfathers' grave is here. Beypazari is also famed witd its excellent soda water. A big soda water bottle welcomes you in the enterance of Beypazari. But Beypazari known with its famous old houses and every year many tourists come to see them. There is a spacious and quiet place:"Gusganali Mansion" . You can ask what is "gusgana" ? Gusgana is the name of third floor that is rising in the middle of second floor without a door. It also represents pantry of mansion. The other name of it is "canti". "Gusgana" gives a sense of half aborted. But this was made deliberately. Gusgana is becoming hot in summer and becoming cold in winter. Foods were drying for winter needs. "Circirlar mansion" is another place in there.
I think it is an excellent place to visit. You should visit there...
